Pikes Place Market
If you've never visited Pike Place Market, then you certainly need to do so sometime. It is a very fun place! Each time I wish I had more time to just walk through it slowly, and take lots of pictures. But for some reason each time we are a little rushed. Maybe I just need to go there by myself, or with another photographer that understands only making it a few paces in several minutes. But last time I was there, I was able to snap a few pictures that I liked.
They are heavily edited thanks to having fun with my new version of Picasa.
There are SO many things to stop and look at. This is a jewelry stand that has lots of bright things.
There are lots of neon signs hanging in the market. They make some fun pictures!
And the produce stands. They are so cool.
While we were there, we ended up eating at a greek place along the street. I had my first Gyro, and I am totally sold now! It was so delicious. Definitely going there again.

I've been given TODAY.
I recently had a birthday. And for the first time, I felt like my age was older than ME. It's a funny feeling!
I am now 23. Some people think it's old, some people think it's young. But what I realized more than ever before is that this life is a vapor. James 4:14 says "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
The bible also talks about how all flesh is as grass, the glory of man like the flower of grass. It withers, and the flower falls away. And we are reminded that the Word of God never perishes! It will endure FOREVER. That's some of the best news we'll hear all day! Our God is faithful.
Anyway, it is time to use today for storing up eternal reward. It is so easy to live life for ourselves, but this vapor of a life is all we have to invest for eternity. I've been given TODAY for a purpose.

I've been enjoying life...
So. I've been enjoying life, and blogging has taken a side seat for a while. But, I know I'll be sorry later, when I want to look back and remember what I've been up to. So I'm going to give it another try.
Today is RAINY and windy. I went on my soap re-stocking rounds today, and though I didn't make as much money this time around, I still had fun.
I'm so thankful that the weather wasn't like this for the Ultimate tournament we just had! That was a fun day.

I'm back!
Well, A lot has gone on since I last posted on here. The whole year has been busy! But the good news is that things are going to be slowing down and (hopefully) normalizing, so I plan on getting back into picture blogging.
Last night I walked up to the top of our ridge with some friends and took this snapshot...it was so beautiful up there, and it was hard to leave!
So anyway - keep your eyes open for more posts!
