"The Studio"

I had a lot of fun when we had some friends over for the day. The girls dressed up for a tea party, so I decided to set up a mini "studio". Since I don't have any special equipment, that meant pulling out a couple of white sheets, 4 shop lights and a few props and setting up in the middle of our hallway. I would say that it was more FUN than successful because of the lighting, but that's okay! The twins were so funny:

Little Miss Lyndi

Above: Lyndi made herself lunch (salad and yogurt) yesterday and set up a little table. Her doll "Helen" got to join her.

This is a picture of her just minutes ago...she was holding "Choir Practice" with her dolls...all 9 of them. (Raggedy Ann is blocked from view)

Waikiki

Waikiki=The Beach Made Up Of Bodies. This picture is actually not at all crowded compared to what we had just walked through.

We decided that we DID NOT like Waikiki. There were crazy people, and lots of people.  But even so, we are headed back through there on our way to Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay tomorrow.

And the bus system...what an adventure that is : )

Surfing at Waimea Bay

No, I didn't attempt it myself, but there were several surfers at Waimea Bay the other day.  I enjoyed watching them and snapping a few pictures. The waves were up to 25 feet tall.

It is easy to laugh at guys like this, but he rode the waves pretty far.

Cutting through the wave

The perspective in this picture is distorted, but this is a huge wave.

What do you do?

Q. What do you do when you can't all get together for a family picture?
A. You take individual portraits, and paste them together...!

By the way, I'm having trouble with the pictures transferring from my last blog to this one, so that is why some of them won't load.

My brother

My brother doesn't care for being in the line of my camera lens, but he let me snap away as he played Racquetball. Obviously you aren't going to hire me for my (photographic) sports abilities, but I had fun. Plus, it gave me an excuse to put together a small collage.

People.

The first picture is of a friend, the second is one I snapped really quickly of my sister (left) and a friend she was playing with. It was so cute to watch them!
